Welfare of SC, ST, OBC & Minority Committee

Role and Functions of the Committee:

To assist the students belonging to reserved classes in seeking admission in College. To help students belonging to reserved classes in applying for various scholarships sponsored by the Social Welfare Department, and other schemes offered by the Government of India. To address and to resolve personal, social and academic issues faced by the students belonging to reserved classes.

The Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) cell iS an institute which promotes the special interest of students of the reserved category and also promote special inputs in areas where the students experience difficult. To take necessary steps for measuring effective implementation of the policy & schemes of the State and Central Govt. 

To counsel and guide SC/ST students and help them to manage academic and personal issues of college life effectively. To provide prompt counselling for any emotional emergencies arising on account at any event at the campus. To ensure protection and reservation as provided in the Constitution of India,
